Feast of the Holy Trinity and Claretian Vocations Day
“Called by Love, Sent on Mission”
The celebration of the Feast of the Holy Trinity and Claretian Vocations Day invites us to contemplate the deepest mystery of our faith: God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — a communion of love that calls every person into relationship, mission, and service.
For the Claretian Family, this day is a special opportunity to renew our gratitude for the gift of vocation and to remember that every call comes from the heart of the Trinity. The Father calls us by name, the Son accompanies us on the path of discipleship, and the Holy Spirit gives us the strength to respond with generosity and joy.
Inspired by the missionary zeal of Saint Anthony Mary Claret and Mother Antonia Paris, we continue to proclaim the Gospel wherever God sends us. Our vocation is not merely a personal gift but a mission entrusted to us for the service of the Church and the world.
In his message for the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that vocation is “the discovery of God’s free gift that blossoms in the depths of our hearts.” He emphasizes that every vocation is “an immeasurable gift for the Church and for those who receive it with joy.”
The Holy Father encourages young people and all believers to cultivate prayer, silence, and attentive listening to God's voice. He invites us to “pause, listen, and entrust yourselves,” allowing God’s call to grow and mature through faith and daily commitment.
Today’s world needs courageous witnesses who live their vocation with authenticity and hope. Whether through consecrated life, priesthood, marriage, or lay commitment, every vocation becomes a sign of God's presence and love. As Claretians, we are challenged to accompany young people, create spaces for discernment, and become joyful witnesses of missionary discipleship.
The Trinity teaches us that true life is found in communion. In a world often marked by division and individualism, our vocation is to build fraternity, foster reconciliation, and bring the light of the Gospel to those most in need.
