he community of
Antonia Paris Nilaya, Novitiate celebrated the carnival of ONAM. As a community
we prayed for all and enjoyed the day with different activities which brought
lot of happiness and enrichment to know about the tradition and the culture of
the other state and to feel oneness. We prepared intricately designed flower mats
called, Pookalam in the entrance of the house
and the impressive part of Onam
celebration was Onasadya is served on banana leaves and we sat on a mat laid on
the floor and had the delicious meal as
a community . May the color and lights of Onam fill our home with happiness and
joy. Our heartfelt wishes to you, on this Onam 2016!!
