we have arranged a meeting for the parents of the tuition children and of the sponsored children on 18th dec. Talk was given by Fr. Frank OCD, about the relationship skills in the families.....it was really enriching. the response of the parents were good, most of them were present, and were motivated. at the end we served them some snacks.
on the same day we had meeting for all the sponsored children. this year for the christmas they received raincoat(below 10yrs) and Umbrella(above 10 yrs). since this is a necessity to go out during raining season. they were content and thanked all the sponsors.

Sisters from Mysore community on Pastoral Vocation promotion

the sisters worked for almost 10days on pastoral vocation. this time it was focussed on the some of schools run by the religious sisters and diocese and some parishes(in the dioceses of Dindigul and Kumbakonam in Tamil nadu). the response of the girls were fairly good. all together 14 schools were visited. we can notice the crisis for religious vocations due to various factors. the younger ones(15yrs old) are more interested than the older ones(18yr old). there is lot of inconviniences in pastoral vocation ministry on the part of us and on the part of the reception of girls, but we consider this as an essential ministry to take up. may God bless all those girls whom we communicated.......may the message give fruits in due time.

Sr. Rani and Novices in Azhgu sirai-Tamilnadu(Orphanage home)

we were in Azugu sirai for about 1 month(30.09.2011-28.10.2011). this house is for the abandoned elderly people, babies and children. this is run by CMF. we went there as par of noviciate programe, to have real touch in this apostolic experience.it was heart breaking to see the just born babies been unwanted by their parents and their relatives. we were able to contribute a little to this beautiful work of preserving life.these babies are been taken care here and latter they are adopted. the children are the ones who have some physical defeacts and are not adopted. this experience has awoked newly in us about one reality of our society.
